It’s come to our attention in working with integrating different payment processors that many of them, EMO included don’t allow us to receive postback information on all the different variables needed to properly add your buys to the system. UniClear specifically seems to add characters to certain fields that keep amounts over 1,000.00 from posting correctly.

Naturally this is a pain in the butt for us and you as we have to manually track this stuff then get with individuals one on one to get their Ad Buys posted.

What we’ve decided to do is to change the nature of how the system works, by simply letting you fund your AT account with whatever amount you want, then purchase Ad Buys at your leisure Internally, which will ensure that everyone’s buys are properly accounted for and credited.

So starting tomorrow, you will simply hit the Fund Account button which will give you a text box and a drop down for each payment processor, and a preview button. You’ll enter whatever amount you want to place on your account, select the processor, and then click preview.

The preview page will show you the amount and the button for the processor you’ve selected. You’ll click the button and be whisked off to EMO or wherever and make a deposit to your AT account, then return to the thank you page.

The thank you page will have 2 buttons, one to return to the main Control Panel, and one to purchase an Ad Buy. Then at that point you will enter the details of your ad buy ie: title, url and language and it will be posted directly from your AT account.

Hopefully this will make things easier and faster for everyone, in the future if a transaction doesn’t post back all we have to do is add that amount to your account and you can then immediately go make an Ad Buy with it, no fuss – no muss.

I know it may sound a little confusing at first, but think of it just like a payment processor, you fund your EMO account from your bank, and then go buy something with it. Same thing here, you’re just funding your AT account, instead of your EMO account, and then buying your advertising with those funds you have on account with us.

This helps our accounting and will improve the speed at which we can respond to your tickets and outstanding issues.

We’ll get it done as soon as possible, I should be able to make it happpen tonight, but it may not be till Friday that you see it online.

Of course then we can get EMO, AlertPay and maybe even a few other processors into the mix.
