Blingo – 5 Tips for Winning Cash by Searching Online

Monday, October 13th, 2008 |

My recent post about Blingo generated so much interest, I figured I would share with you new Blingo users some tips for winning free prizes and cash.

#1 – Refer your friends

The easiest way to increase your chances of winning is to refer your friends. Blingo awards you with the same prize as your referrals win, so its obvious you should tell your friends and establish a solid downline. Put a link on your forum signature, tell your friends, or add a note on Facebook. By referring your friends and online acquaintances, you don’t need to search as often and still have chances to win prizes!

#2 – Add Blingo to your browser

Add a toolbar to your browser window or add Blingo as a quick search. Click here for instructions on how to add a toolbar or Blingo to your quick search (Firefox / Safari / IE 7).

#3 – Set Blingo as your homepage

Make Blingo.com the first website that comes up on your browser. If you don’t know how to do this, click here for instructions.

#4 – Search Blingo like you normally search Google

Use Blingo as your primary search engine, just like you do with Google. Keep in mind only 25 searches a day are eligible for winning prizes. Regardless, its a good habit and you’ll never know when you will win.

#5 – Add Blingo to your Website or Blog

Put Blingo’s button on your website or blog. No matter what your website is about, who wouldn’t appreciate the opportunity to win prizes or cash for searching Google? Click here to see Blingo’s stylish red, green, and blue buttons!

I hope everyone will find these tips helpful. Feel free to comment and share more tips!

Win Cash and Prizes for Searching Google

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008 |

Last week I won $50 cash for searching Google. Yes, you read that correctly, searching Google.

So what’s the catch? You have to use the text field form on Blingo.com. That’s it!

Blingo is a website that allows you to search Google like you normally would through Google.com, but for every search (up to 25 searches a day) you have a chance to win cash and prizes. They’ve given out over 65,000 prizes to date!

And I’ve already won 10 times! A $20 Visa gift card, $50 cash, several Amazon.com gift cards, and even some Fandango movie tickets. Check out my proof pictures page for proof (will update it when my $50 cash arrives).

I haven’t even shared the best part of searching Google through Blingo.com! If you refer your friends (as I did with my siblings, friends, and fellow bloggers) to Blingo, you win the same prize they win! So after building a strong downline of referrals, you can win for doing absolutely nothing.

Talk about making easy money! Make Blingo part of your internet searching habits and you will be rewarded with free cash or some amazing prizes. Signup and start winning with me today.

Tips for Becoming a Mystery Shopper

Sunday, May 6th, 2007 |

Most internet users looking to make money online have seen the advertisements for “mystery shopping.” These companies promise money for the average person to shop for products and write about their experience in exchange for a training or certification fee. But the truth is you don’t need training or certification in order to shop anonymously and earn money for it!

A StartupJournal.com article says that you should do some research on the offer before signing up or forking over any cash. They offer the following tips:

  • Do a Web search of mystery shopping companies. Look for ones that are accepting applications — and don’t charge a fee for you to complete it.
  • Do your homework. There are many books available on the subject, such as “The Mystery Shopper’s Manual” and “How to Become a Mystery Shopper.” Read up and understand what it takes to be a good mystery shopper.
  • Start with the Mystery Shopping Providers Association Web site at www.mysteryshop.org. You can find out how to register with an MSPA member company, browse available jobs and feel confident that the ones represented there are legitimate.

If you are ready to start looking for shopping opportunities, search for available “shops” in your area with this search engine.
